This year for college day, I went to the college Cal Poly Pomona. I really enjoyed the tour that was presented to us during the day because the people who were talking us through the tour were highly educated in their craft and understood every bit and detail there is to the college. I didn't really like the fact that the dorm rooms were so tiny, but then again the dorms were old and the college is beginning to produce much larger dorm rooms for the students staying there. I feel like comfort isn't a very big issue when choosing a college but I definitely want to be able to feel comfortable/confident when roaming the campus, looking for my classes that I have to go to. I don't have a size preference when looking for a college because I do know that through time that I will be able to roam the campus and have a sense of direction, to where I need to go next. I also don't have a preference when going to a public or private school because either way I will still receive an education in a field that I enjoy. I am not religious in any way, so I wouldn't really want to enroll into a religious school, unless there was a really great opportunity in store for me. Once again, I don't really mind a lot or a little amount of people when attending a school because I still receive an education and I will hopefully enjoy what I do, one way or another. Location isn't a really big obstacle for me, although I do know based on the college I attend, the weather may be different, I may miss family, etc. Eventually I would hopefully get a grip on my life and get used to the changes that affected my life. Access to professors is half and half for me because sometimes I seriously need to contact someone higher up in the school hierarchy in order to know what I need to complete in order to be successful. I also don't usually need help because I am usually on top of my work and extra curricular activities in order to achieve and have a full college experience. I do prefer large classrooms because I feel like that work environment is a lot quicker and I absorb a lot more information after the lecture because I took notes and can evaluate them later. Honestly, I actually want to move farther than California because I want to explore more of the country/world in order to fulfill adventurous needs.
1.ROTC - Yes (Air Force) Possible Choice?
2.Chemistry - Yes (Chemistry seems important and I enjoy finding out why elements react the way they do)
3.Writing/Literature - Yes ( I do enjoy writing and am fairly good at it)
If another college was offering a better course in a field that I enjoyed, I would definitely sacrifice my enrollment to my previous college.

One important academic opportunity I have is a running scholarship for cross country. I have been noticed by colleges and have a chance of receiving a running scholarship for a Division 3 college in athletics. This would be a great opportunity for me in the future because I enjoy running and training a lot. I would definitely be on board for this challenge and success.
During my free time in college, I will definitely be studying for upcoming quizzes and terms etc. Of course that is not going to be the only task I do, I will also be running, working out, and keeping in shape. I will also be hanging out with friends from either high school or new friends that I have made from the dorm/campus. I also want to keep in touch with family of course and I also want to be able to have days where I rest most of the day (lazy days). During your stay at Cal Poly, students are able to choose each other for dorm room buddies if they so desire. There is no draw, lucky win, or anything, if you put down the ID of the other student and he/she puts you down, you will be dorm room buddies. Freshman must live on campus because the school believes that students who are involved with a college will be more motivated to turn in work/study. Students are able to bring their vehicles on campus in order to easily enable students who live closely, get to class on time. There are multiple clubs and activities within the college, there are club sports at the school, which enable students, who aren't particularly competitive to enjoy a sport in a calm environment. There are also many game rooms where students can kick it and chill with their friends. There are a vast amount of student-led jobs on campus, and all you have to do is sign up online, and you are able to work for that job on campus. There are multiple jobs like, tour guide, personal trainer, volunteer work etc. Cal Poly is a division 2 NCAA athletic school and they offer a vast amount of sports on campus. There is Men and Women's Cross Country, Men and Women's Soccer etc. There are many people on campus who share the same dreams and aspirations as you because of the vast amount of buildings. There are engineering and business schools, agriculture etc. There are many fields of work that multiple students enjoy just as much as you would. In the surrounding area, I am not entirely sure what there is to do, but I do know on campus, that there are multiple shops, restaurants, play rooms etc.
